I was recently looking at a website by Gabriel Bernstein and noticed something interesting. She posed a question that made me stop and think.
“Are you the happiest person you know?”
Interesting question, right?
Are you? Am I? Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own negative stories that we forget to be happy in spite of them.
Don’t get me wrong, many of our stories are really tough, whether it be financial, health or mental issues or relationship problems, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still be happy.
Find out how to be happy and well without perfect health here.
Sound crazy?
Maybe a little but it’s true. Of course we all need a little time to grieve and process a new situation that is bringing us to our knees, but, after we are done working though our issue, it is possible to return back to a place of joy.

How hard is it to think that way when you are in the middle of a crisis?
Seriously hard.
I totally get that because after four cancers and two autoimmune diseases, I’ve had to pull myself up by my bootstraps more times than I care to remember. It’s easy to start thinking that luck isn’t on our side or that we are a product of our situations and give up on the idea that something better will ever happen to us.
Those thoughts are a lie! Don’t believe the negative voices in your head.
Through all my disease hell, I’ve come up with a simple process I want to share to get you back to ‘happy’ (click here and find out how).
It’s a really easy technique that changes our perception of how we see our situations. It pulls us out of our issues so they don’t attach to us like cement boots (it’s hard to move forward in life when you’re walking in cement boots).
